It’s not surprising that when you have a faction as dominant as the ICON$, you’re going to have a number of wrestlers who want to join the team.
And in recent months we’ve seen Robbie Thorpe become a full member, and names like Ricky South have shown that they have common goals as the ICON$, teaming up with in the process.
But here we’re talking about two men, both of whom desperately want to become the latest fully-fledged member.
Lucky O’Leary has made it very clear that he wants in; he’s tried multiple times to get the attention of Slex, and now that he’s scored his first win in MCW, he’s finally managed to turn some heads his way. And to be honest, he’s got a lot of qualities that the ICON$ are looking for, especially that willingness to win at all costs.
Everyone can see that there’s a ton of upside to Lucky, and we expect to increase now he has even more self-belief.
Meanwhile, Jarvis’ story with the ICON$ is a little more complicated. He fell under the wing of Rocky Menero and was quickly appointed MCW’s Junior Vice President of General Management.
But since Robbie Thorpe joined the team, he’s seemingly been Rocky’s focus, and Jarvis has been left out in the cold.
Case in point, Jarvis is still not a full member of the ICON$, despite having been instrumental in ensuring some big wins for the team. We can see it on his face – he’s been overlooked, and it’s starting to frustrate him.
But now MCW GM Rocky Menero has given both men a lifeline – whoever wins that match, becomes the latest member of the ICON$. Talk about high stakes!
One man will realise his dream.
The other will have his dream shattered.
And in a head-to-head battle, there’s really not much to choose between them. Both are young, both are hungry, and both feel like they still have something to prove.
So, the real question is, who is willing to do whatever it takes to become an ICON?
The biggest event of the year – MCW End Game – will be at the Melbourne Pavilion on Sunday 8th December.
